Just landed in Gulfport. Can't check in till 3. Let's brunch!! Check Yelp and they had some good reviews and the menu sounds yummy! A little bit of a wait, maybe 10 minutes, which is a good sign for a Friday. Once seated I grabbed a mimosa trio. Mango, pineapple and prolly pare. So good! My go to is pineapple. We also decided to grab some DEVILED ON THE BAYOU deviled eggs. Really good. Loved the ham, egg and sriracha combo. Finally we had the killer creole omelette. So good! All kinds of great flavors. Plenty for 2. Nice vibe here. Very close to the beach but still a little bit of a local vibe. Ryan our server was awesome. Well deserved high reviews!
We had a great brunch there! The food was absolutely delicious and the Bloody Mary was top notch! That was the star of the show right there! Our server was the bomb diggity!
We found this brunch spot on a list of places to eat in Biloxi and our hotel bartender confirmed it was good stuff. We arrived earlier on a Sunday morning, to beat the crowds, and we did... but we were also informed that they were short staffed and it might be a little wait for food. We were warm with nowhere to be, so that didn't matter. Instead of taking a table, we opted for the bar, which was perfect. Amaya was our server and she could not have been more lovely and professional. We ordered the seasonal sampler of beignets, one Bloody Mary experience and one coffee flight to start, and everything came out perfectly. The coffee flight came hot or iced (I chose iced... it's who I am), and included a peppermint mocha, tiramisu, gingerbread, and cookie butter flavor. Oh, and all were spiked with vanilla vodka. The cookie butter was my favorite. I really took my time drinking it so a) I didn't fill up before my breakfast came and b) so I had something to drink when breakfast came, and Amaya noticed. She told me she was worried that I didn't seem to be drinking and if I didn't like it she would make me another round. I had to explain that I loved it but just wasn't rushing because we knew they were overwhelmed and were just leaning into that low-key vibe. The Bloody Mary experience was something else... you get a card with choices, where you can select everything from your vodka, to the flavor on the rim of the glass, to the spiciness level, to the veggies, to the meats, to the adds on. My husband made the most of it, adding a pickle, olives, celery, shrimp, feta, pepper jack, and even a deviled egg to his bloody! It came in a huge goblet and was quite awesome. For breakfast, he had tacos with eggs and veggies inside these beautiful crispy wontons. And I went a little more basic with a spinach, bacon, cheese and tomato omelet and grits. We enjoyed both our meals, and the service. A breakfast must do!
This is definitely a brunch spot to add to your list of places to try while in Biloxi! Our server, "Sugar" was very pleasant and accommodating! Our food was delicious! The omelets, grits and pancake were all hot and delicious!
I am usually not a big fan of breakfast food, but this place has totally changed my perspective on it! The prices are fair, food is delicious, and service is great. Definitely one of my favorites on the coast.
